DEBESMSCAT Empowers Student Leaders: Peer Support Seminar Appoints New Officers for Mental Health Advocacy

The DEBESMSCAT – Office of Guidance Services successfully conducted the seminar on Peer Support in College, bringing together passionate college-wide student leaders committed to building a more caring and mentally healthy campus community on February 27, 2026 at the DEBESMSCAT College Amphitheater.

The event marked not only a meaningful learning experience but also a significant milestone as the new set of Peer Counselors Officers was officially appointed—ready to serve, listen, and lead with empathy.

Present during this important initiative were: Mr. Joseph P. Valencia, Director, Office of Guidance Services, Dr. Ella Lotivio, Adviser, DEBESMSCAT Supreme Student Council and Ms. Mary Anne Joy P. Ferriol.

Their presence and support reaffirm the institution’s strong commitment to student welfare, leadership development, and mental health advocacy.
