[JUST IN] DEBESMSCAT Offers MS in Agriculture under CHED-SIKAP Program

The Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) has been approved as a delivering higher education institution offering the Master of Science in Agriculture under the CHED Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program starting Second Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026.

The additional program forms part of the Fourth Batch of approved graduate programs announced through a memorandum issued by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office V. The approval allows qualified scholars to pursue advanced studies in agriculture through the CHED-SIKAP scholarship program.

With the inclusion of the Master of Science in Agriculture, DEBESMSCAT now offers four graduate programs under CHED-SIKAP, namely:

  1. Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education
  2. Doctor of Philosophy in English Language Education
  3. Master in Public Administration
  4. Master of Science in Agriculture

The expansion of graduate offerings strengthens the college’s role in supporting professional development for faculty and staff in higher education institutions while contributing to the advancement of research, leadership, and innovation in the region.
