DEBESMSCAT Launches Refurbishment of International Relations Office

DEBESMSCAT has officially begun the refurbishment of its International Relations Office (IRO), starting with the delivery of new furniture and equipment aimed at upgrading the office’s functionality and overall service environment.

The initiative, led by DEBESMSCAT President Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, underscores the institution’s commitment to strengthening international engagement by providing a more efficient, welcoming, and student-centered space for global academic initiatives.

The refurbishment supports the college’s efforts to enhance administrative services related to student mobility, international partnerships, and research collaboration. By modernizing the IRO, DEBESMSCAT seeks to better position itself in advancing global linkages and cross-border academic opportunities.

While structural renovation works are yet to commence, the arrival of essential furnishings marks a significant step forward in the project. The upgrade reflects the institution’s strategic direction toward aligning its facilities with its expanding internationalization goals.

This initial phase lays the groundwork for further developments, reinforcing DEBESMSCAT’s commitment to building a professional, accessible, and globally responsive academic environment.

As the newly-installed SUC President of DEBESMSCAT, I am truly humbled and honored to assume this role. It is my goal in my 4-year term to share with you my vision and advocacy, which centers around the power of unity and collaboration, embodied by the acronym TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.
