The momentous event was graced by key figures, including Campus Administrator ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ ๐. ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ, Research and Extension Coordinator ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง, and Department Head of Teacher Education Institute ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐. ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐. Joining them were the esteemed barangay captains of San Vicente, Maihao, Divisoria, Behia, Poblacion, and Mahayahay, who expressed their commitment to fostering educational development in their respective communities.
The ceremony began with an invocation, setting a solemn and purposeful tone for the gathering. In her welcome remarks, Ms. Castillo underscored the significance of the formalized partnership, emphasizing the institutionโs dedication to community development through education. Mr. Alimonsurin then provided an insightful overview of the project, highlighting its goals and expected impact. At the heart of this initiative is Project “๐๐๐๐๐๐๐”, a pioneering literacy program initially launched at Behia Elementary School.
Designed to cultivate reading skills among young learners through storytelling, the program also extends its reach to parents, equipping them with the necessary skills and strategies to actively support their children’s education.
Now, with this expanded partnership, the program aspires to create a broader impact across the six barangays, nurturing a culture of learning and empowerment. This collaboration marks a promising step toward a brighter future for Cawayanโs children, reinforcing the shared commitment of DEBESMSCAT and its partner barangays in uplifting education and strengthening community engagement.
