July 25, 2025 – Aroroy National High School became the stage for a powerful initiative that fosters ethical leadership among school heads. The EDDEL students, in collaboration with school heads and under the guidance of Dr. Elreen A. Delavin, organized a remarkable extension activity titled the TIMON Program—short for Transformational Initiatives for Mentorship and Organization Navigation. This Ethical Leadership Clinic gathered educational leaders and learners to reflect on, explore, and embrace the importance of ethical leadership in education and beyond.

The TIMON Program is a visionary initiative that aims to empower future leaders through mentorship and ethical navigation. Designed and led by the EDDEL students, the seminar emphasized real-life applications of ethical principles in leadership roles. With the support of the school heads and community stakeholders, this activity served as a cornerstone in promoting integrity, responsibility, and accountability among school heads.

The first session featured Dr. Ramil D. Gutierrez, the Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Aroroy East District. He delivered an impactful talk on “The Role of Ethics in Educational Leadership.” Dr. Gutierrez shared how integrity and ethical governance play a vital role in building trust and accountability in the school environment, encouraging future leaders to embody these values.

Dr. Elreen A. Delavin, the Project Implementer, presented the rationale behind the TIMON initiative. Dr. Delavin emphasized the urgent need to cultivate ethical values among the school heads, especially within school organizations and community engagements. Her message set the tone for a continued growth, reflection, and transformation.

Mrs. Anabel S. Villamor took the stage for the second session with a compelling discussion on ethical decision-making tools. She guided participants through practical strategies for resolving moral dilemmas and making value-driven choices. Students engaged in group activities, where they tackled situational challenges and later shared their insights, showcasing their growth in ethical reasoning.

In the afternoon, Dr. Nathan A. Campo Jr. led a dynamic workshop titled “Masbate Moral Compass: Ethical Dilemmas Role Play.” This session brought ethics to life through real-time role-playing scenarios, allowing participants to experience and reflect on moral complexities in leadership. The interactive format encouraged empathy, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.

A special highlight of the event was the message delivered by Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, SUC President of DEBESMSCAT. His heartfelt words expressed appreciation to the attendees and applauded the commitment of EDDEL students. He emphasized how ethics and passion are key drivers in leadership, leaving the audience with a renewed sense of purpose.

Mrs. Mary Joy M. Romero closed the day’s learning sessions with a heartfelt activity entitled “Letter to My Future Self as an Ethical Leader.” Students were encouraged to write personal messages envisioning the kind of leaders they aspire to become. The reflective task helped anchor the lessons of the day in personal growth and future aspirations.

To formally conclude the Ethical Leadership Clinic, Dr. Elreen A. Delavin returned to the stage with a gracious closing message. She expressed her gratitude to all the speakers, facilitators, and participants for contributing to the success of the program. Dr. Delavin reaffirmed the importance of continuing the conversation on ethical leadership in every school and community.

The TIMON Program’s Ethical Leadership Clinic was more than just an event—it was a transformative experience. From insightful talks to hands-on workshops, every moment reinforced the values of ethical conduct and visionary leadership. As these students move forward, they carry with them the principles instilled during this enriching day, ready to lead with courage, integrity, and heart. DEBES-PIO
