DEBESMSCAT President Inspects New CIT Equipment Ahead of ISO Audit and BIndTech Rollout

January 22, 2026 — DEBESMSCAT SUC President III Dr. Arnel B. Millesca personally inspected the newly delivered state-of-the-art equipment of the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) as part of the institution’s preparations for the upcoming ISO audit and the rollout of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIndTech) program.

The inspection focused on the readiness and operational status of the equipment to ensure compliance with quality management standards and alignment with CHED Memorandum Order No. 13, series of 2023. The activity also supports preparations for the Regional Quality Assessment of CHED Regional Office V for the implementation of the BIndTech program.

The inspection comes in the wake of DEBESMSCAT’s recent acquisition of more than PHP 14.7 million worth of advanced automotive and fabrication laboratory equipment from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through its Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region V
