DEBESMSCAT Passed Stage 1 ISO Audit with Zero Critical Findings, Advances to Stage 2 Certification

The Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) successfully passed the Stage 1 ISO Audit conducted on May 7, 2026, marking a major milestone in the institution’s continuing pursuit of quality assurance and operational excellence.

Following the completion of the audit, ISO TUV SUD Lead Auditor Mr. Erwin Quinto concluded that DEBESMSCAT is ready to proceed to the Stage 2 ISO Audit after recording zero critical areas of concern during the assessment.

The Stage 1 Audit evaluated the institution’s documented systems, quality objectives, operational processes, and overall preparedness for ISO certification, including the inspection of offices, facilities, buildings, and laboratories across the college.

College officials, faculty members, personnel, and the Quality Assurance Team welcomed the positive outcome, recognizing it as a reflection of the institution’s collective commitment to continuous improvement and quality public service.

The Stage 2 ISO Audit is scheduled on July 7, 2026, two months after the successful completion of the Stage 1 assessment.
