
The institution actively participated in the Public Information Office, Inc held a 3-day seminar on Leadership, Effective Handling of Employees, Strategic Thinking in the Workplace, and Effective Communication and its Importance in Handling Customer/Client Relations Professionally last April 28-30, 2025 at Camelot Hotel, Diliman, Quezon City. Engr. Genesis A. Tumbaga, Information Officer I, and Ms. Maffi Gieson S. Asilum attended and represented the institution to the said event.

The 3-day seminar gathered information officers, public relations practitioners, and communication leaders from various government agencies and academic institutions across the country. The event aimed to enhance the skills of PIOs in effective leadership, strategic communication, crisis messaging, and digital media engagement. The seminar involved a series of lectures, workshops, and panel discussions led by esteemed experts in media, leadership, and communications. Among the topics covered were communication strategies, leadership communication styles, and innovations in public information dissemination.
The event also served as a platform for networking and collaboration, allowing participants to exchange best practices and build stronger ties among PIOs nationwide. The seminar underscored the crucial role of effective public information systems in fostering transparency, accountability, and community trust.
