Princess Z. Balbuena, Head of the GAD unit, spearheaded the kick-off ceremony for the month-long National Women’s Celebration last February 28, 2022 during the conduct of the Monday Convocation held in front of the Administration Building, DEBESMSCAT.
The event was attended by key officials, faculty, staff, and students. After the Flag rituals, Balbuena gave a message on the significance of the event as it pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of women in the different sectors of our society. With the theme, “Agenda ng Kababaihan Tungo sa Kaunlaran,” this year’s celebration greatly complements the 6-year long theme, “we make CHANGE work for women,” as it endeavors gender equality and women empowerment (GEWE) attainable by women in all walks of life.
In her message, Balbuena also detailed the list of activities in store for all DEBESMSCAT personnel and students.
