DEBESMSCAT Holds SPrEAD Year III and Team-Building Activities, Highlights Achievements and Future Direction

December 19, 2025 — The Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) successfully conducted the SUC President’s Address (SPrEAD) Year III alongside a campus-wide team-building activity, marking a full day of reflection, celebration, and unity among the institution’s personnel.

The activity commenced in the morning at the DEBESMSCAT Grounds with Team Building, held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Employees from all colleges and administrative offices participated in various recreational games designed to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and stress relief after a year of intensive academic and administrative work.

Following the team-building activities, the SPrEAD Proper formally opened with an opening message delivered by Dr. Ulysis S. Ferreras, President of the DEBESMSCAT Faculty Association (DFA).

A series of creative and thematic presentations from various offices and colleges of the institution, including the Non-Teaching Staff, different academic units, and the Cawayan Campus, followed.

One of the key highlights of the program was the soft launching of the DEBESMSCAT Strategic Development Plan 2026–2030, which unveiled the institution’s renewed vision, mission, quality policy, core values, and strategic roadmaps, setting the direction for DEBESMSCAT’s next phase of growth and development.

This was succeeded by the SUC President’s Address, delivered through a video presentation and message by SUC President III Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, who highlighted the institution’s major accomplishments in 2025—his third year as SUC President—and outlined priority programs and future plans for the coming year.

An oathtaking ceremony was then held for newly hired and promoted personnel, recognizing their formal entry and advancement within the DEBESMSCAT workforce.

The event also recognized excellence and creativity through the awarding of winners in both the team-building games and the inter-unit presentations. The Non-Teaching Staff placed third, followed by the College of Arts and Sciences in second place, while the Cawayan Campus emerged as Champion, featuring a vibrant “Pasko ng Pinoy”–themed presentation highlighted by traditional costumes and props.

Adding excitement to the celebration were a raffle draw and gift-giving activity, capped by the distribution of Noche Buena packages to all DEBESMSCAT personnel, symbolizing appreciation, gratitude, and shared celebration as the year draws to a close.

The program concluded with closing remarks delivered by Mr. Allan O. Delos Reyes, President of D’Ants, who emphasized unity, collaboration, and collective commitment as DEBESMSCAT continues to move forward.

Overall, the SPrEAD Year III and Team-Building activities reinforced the institution’s culture of inclusivity, recognition, and forward-looking leadership, celebrating both achievements and the people behind DEBESMSCAT’s continued progress.
