To ensure alignment and equip its workforce with essential knowledge of institutional protocols, the DEBESMSCAT Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) conducted an orientation for newly hired Contract of Service (COS) faculty and non-teaching personnel today, January 15, 2026, for the Academic Year 2025-2026.
The activity aimed to familiarize employees with the college’s institutional goals, policies, and core functions as they officially start on their new roles within the institution. Present at the activity were Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, SUC President III, who delivered the opening remarks and discussed the institutional direction of the college; Dr. Rodolfo B. Burac, Jr., OIC-Vice President for Academic Affairs, who discussed academic targets, updates, and grade submissions; and Dr. Erwin H. Malto, Vice President for Administration and Finance.
Mrs. Ligaya M. Capinig, Human Resource Management Officer, discussed the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (RA 6713), dress code, along wit policies and attendance. The orientation concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Erwin H. Malto, who emphasized the importance of integrity, accountability, and professionalism in public service
Through this orientation, DEBESMSCAT reaffirms its commitment to fostering a well-informed, competent, and ethical workforce in support of its mission to deliver quality education and public service.
