December 19, 2025 — In line with the State of the SUC President’s Address for Year III and as part of its year-end activities, the Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) successfully conducted a campus-wide team-building activity that brought together employees from across the institution in a day of camaraderie, laughter, and well-deserved relaxation.
The activity was participated in by all colleges and administrative offices, with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and campus administrators taking part, underscoring the institution’s commitment to unity and teamwork beyond office walls.
The gathering served as a timely opportunity for personnel to unwind and recharge after months of demanding academic and administrative work.
Various entertainment and team games added excitement to the event, including giant volleyball, egg relay, tornado belt relay, and basketball relay. Stealing the spotlight, however, was the much-anticipated exhibition basketball game, which became the highlight of the team-building activity.
In a humorous twist, players took to the court wearing women’s attire complete with makeup, drawing cheers and laughter from the crowd and reinforcing the spirit of fun and sportsmanship.
The team-building activity was graced by DEBESMSCAT SUC President III Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, along with Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Erwin H. Malto, college deans, unit heads, and the Cawayan Campus administrator.
Following the team-building activities, all participants gathered for a unity lunch, further strengthening camaraderie as employees shared a meal and fellowship.
The team building not only capped the year on a high note but also reinforced the core value of unity within DEBESMSCAT community, reminding its workforce that even amid busy schedules and institutional responsibilities, there is always time to come together as one community.

Ladies and gentlemen,
