DEBESMSCAT Association of Non-Teaching Staff Holds General Assembly and Team Building 2026

June 18, 2026- The DEBESMSCAT Association of Non-Teaching Staff (D’ANTS) successfully conducted its General Assembly and Team Building 2026 at Nathalia Beach Resort, Mandaon, Masbate, bringing together non-teaching personnel for a day of organizational strengthening, collaboration, and camaraderie.

The assembly commenced with the preliminaries, including the opening prayer, determination of quorum, and approval of the provisional agenda. During the business session, members discussed and acted on several important organizational matters such as the accomplishment and financial reports, submission of documentary requirements, recruitment of new members, uniform policies, the continued implementation of the four-day work week for non-teaching offices, amendments to the D’ANTS Constitution and By-Laws, and the election of a new set of officers.

Certificates of membership were also awarded to recognize and formally welcome members of the association. The activity provided an avenue for members to actively participate in discussions that directly affect their welfare and professional interests within the institution.

Following the assembly, participants engaged in team-building activities and social interactions designed to foster unity, teamwork, and stronger interpersonal relationships among non-teaching staff. Through collaborative games and shared experiences, members strengthened their bonds and renewed their commitment to supporting the goals and mission of DEBESMSCAT.

The successful conduct of the General Assembly and Team Building underscores D’ANTS’ continuing dedication to promoting employee engagement, organizational development, and a positive workplace culture among the college’s non-teaching workforce.

Ladies and gentlemen,

As the newly-installed SUC President of DEBESMSCAT, I am truly humbled and honored to assume this role. It is my goal in my 4-year term to share with you my vision and advocacy, which centers around the power of unity and collaboration, embodied by the acronym TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.

Leadership, to me, is not about commanding from the top or solely relying on individual brilliance. It is about recognizing the immense potential within each member of our institution and harnessing that collective strength to achieve remarkable things. True leadership requires humility, the ability to listen, learn, and empower others.

As we embark on this journey together, my aim is to cultivate an environment where every member of DEBESMSCAT feels valued, respected, and inspired to contribute their best. Together, we can achieve more than any one person could on their own.

I firmly believe that by fostering a culture of teamwork, we can overcome challenges, spark innovation, and bring about transformative change. Each of us possesses unique talents and perspectives that, when combined, form a powerful force for progress.
