DEBESMSCAT Admin Council Convenes to Strengthen Institution’s Internationalization and ICT System innovations

July 28, 2025 – The Administrative Council of Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) held a special meeting on July 28, 2025, at the College Board Room to deliberate on key institutional development plans aligned with global standards and sustainable development goals.

Dr. Nikki Faith Bantillo, Director of the International Relations Office (IRO), presented the Strategic Internationalization Plan for 2025–2029, outlining DEBESMSCAT’s vision to establish robust academic linkages, promote faculty and student mobility, and position the institution as a globally competitive higher education hub. The initiative reflects the College’s commitment to quality education and international standards by fostering inclusive and globally benchmarked learning opportunities.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nestor John Villamor of the Management Information System (MIS) Office presented the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plan, focusing on enhancing ICT infrastructure and systems reliability. The plan supports the efficient delivery of services and the institution’s long-term digital transformation, reinforcing efforts aligned with the development goal on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

The Council, led by SUC President Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, together with key college executives, deans, and directors, carefully scrutinized the proposed plans to ensure alignment with the institution’s strategic directions and governance framework, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
