DEBESMSCAT College of Education Joins the 2025 Regional Pre-Service Teacher Education Congress: Preparing Future Educators for an AI-Driven World

September 17, 2025 The Albay Astrodome in Legazpi City hosted the 2025 Regional Pre-Service Teacher Education Congress, organized by CODTE V (Council of Deans for Teacher Education, Region V). Themed “Preparing Future Educators for an AI-Driven World,” the congress aimed to equip future teachers with insights and readiness to face the challenges and opportunities of integrating artificial intelligence into teaching. During the event, the Tanghalang CODTE was formally launched, followed by a cultural showcase highlighting the rich festivals of the Bicol region.
