October 16, 2025 — The Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) successfully held its 112th Regular Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting at Bicol University. The meeting marked another milestone in the institution’s commitment to excellence and continuous development in higher education governance.
During the session, all proposals presented to the Board were approved, reflecting the shared vision and collaboration among DEBESMSCAT’s academic and administrative leaders. The approved measures are expected to further strengthen the institution’s academic programs, research, extension services, and administrative operations.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Student Trustee, who officially joined the DEBESMSCAT Board of Trustees. Her induction symbolizes the active participation of the student body in institutional decision-making and reinforces DEBESMSCAT’s dedication to inclusive and participatory governance.
