September 23, 2024 – DEBESMSCAT President Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, proudly chaired the esteemed board of judges for the 2024 Search for Ten Outstanding Teachers. The event was held at B@MS Restobar, Boulevard, Masbate City, marked a significant occasion to honor the province’s exemplary educators whose contributions have made a lasting impact on their students, schools, and the wider community. The search, widely recognized as one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies for teachers in the province of masbate, attracted an impressive number of candidates, with 20 semi-finalists making it to the final round of interviews. Dr. Millesca, along with five other distinguished judges—Hon. Teddy L. Danao Jr, Sanguniang Panlalawigan Member, Dr. Jonald B. Sia, VP for Academic Affairs Osmeña Colleges, Dr. Donata L. Valler, Division Federated PTA President, Maria-Magnolia F. Brioso, CESO VI, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, and Maria Sheila V. Lagoda, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent—worked meticulously to evaluate and select the most outstanding among them.
The Search for Ten Outstanding Teachers is an annual initiative aimed at recognizing the unwavering commitment, passion, and innovative teaching approaches of educators who go beyond the call of duty.
