The 2nd International Research Opportunities, Developments, and Extension Outcomes (IRODEO) Conference 2025 is a significant effort that aims to be inclusive and will engage participants from various institutions and aligns with the celebration of the RODEO in the Province of Masbate. Emphasizing gender and development components, the conference provides a platform to showcase research projects on a global stage.

This multidisciplinary international research and extension conference signify a commendable endeavor that engages faculty, researchers, practitioners, students, and professionals across diverse institutions. Beyond its academic significance, this event is poised to resonate with the vibrant celebration of the RODEO in the Province of Masbate, thereby imbuing it with cultural and regional dimensions. Moreover, it endeavors to incorporate gender and development components, acknowledging the intersections of research, culture, and societal progress.

The 2nd IRODEO 2025 Conference has a theme: ” Innovative Pathways to Sustainable Development: Strengthening Inclusive Research and Extension Collaborations for Future-Ready Solutions” which is aligned with the college’s mission to forge enduring partnerships with local and international institutions. Rooted in academic, research, production, and community-based endeavors, this conference aims to unite scholars, researchers, and experts from diverse disciplines. PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts and full papers related to their respective tracks. Submission will undergo a peer-review process and accepted papers will be presented during the conference. Post-conference, selected papers will be considered for publication in the KURUKOD Journal, the College International Peer Reviewed Journal.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstracts within 250 – 300 words should be submitted to https://irodeo.kurukodjournal.com/index.php/irodeocontrans/user/register. Intending authors are required to register using personal or institutional emails. The abstract must contain the following sections:

  1. Title of the article
  2. Name of the authors (All capital letters for the name of the presenter and normal case for the co-authors)
  3. Name of the Presenter (1 only)
  4. Affiliation and Business Address
  5. Track
  6. Email Address
  7. Content must contain the following:
    1. Novelty
    1. Objectives of the study
    1. Methodology
    1. Significant findings
    1. Implication of the findings to technological, cultural, and societal advancements
  8. Keywords ( 3 – 7 alphabetically arranged). These should be typed single-spaced, in Times New Roman with a font size of 12.
  9. Submitted Abstract will be reviewed by the Reviewer Committee and once accepted the following will be sent to the author:

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

  1. The full paper should follow the prescribed template of the journal with the following sections:
    1. Title of the Paper
    1. Name of the Authors
    1. Affiliation
    1. Email address
    1. Content includes: Keywords (3 (List three to seven pertinent keywords specific to the article yet reasonably common within the subject discipline.), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendation, Acknowledgment (if any) and References. (Please find the attached Full Paper Template).
  2. Full papers should be submitted electronically in MS Word following the Full Paper Template. Deadline for submission of full papers will be on February 14, 2025.
  3. An acknowledgment email will be sent to the presenting author upon receipt of the full paper.
  4. All submitted full papers will be evaluated for the selection of BEST CONFERENCE PAPERS based on the following criteria:

RESEARCH PAPER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  1. Virtual Research Paper Presenters for parallel sessions will be 10 minutes duration of recorded video and must be submitted to the committee on or before May 19-23, 2025.
  2. On-site presenters are advised to submit a copy of PowerPoint Presentation to the Secretariat Committee before the start of the Schedule of Paper Presentations. PowerPoint presentation template will be provided for a common slide deck presentation.
  3. The presentation must have a video dimension of 1280 x 720 (720p) using .mp4 format.
  4. The research presenter must be present during the academic exchange after all videos have been presented.
  5. This is the set of criteria for the Selection of the BEST VIRTUAL RESEARCH PRESENTER.

Air fare and other Mode of transportation going to the conference venue and accommodation are not covered.
