𝐃𝐄𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐌𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐓 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬

August 1, 2026 – The Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) successfully concluded its Civil Service Professional and Subprofessional Examination Training Program under the VolunTUTOR Program with a meaningful closing ceremony held at the DEBESMSCAT QA conference room, Cabitan, Mandaon, Masbate.

The month-long review program, conducted every Saturday from July 4 to August 1, 2026, was spearheaded by Engr. Nanette M. Laurio, lead implementer of the DEBESMSCAT VolunTUTOR Program. The initiative aimed to equip aspiring civil servants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in the upcoming Civil Service Commission (CSC) Professional and Subprofessional Examinations.

During the closing ceremony, participants received words of encouragement from college officials. Dr. Flora C. Royo, Supervising Administrative Officer, Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, SUC President III, and Dr. Elreen A. Delavin, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered inspirational messages, emphasizing the value of perseverance, integrity, and lifelong learning in public service. They encouraged the reviewees to remain confident, trust in their preparation, and give their best as they take the CSC Examination on August 9, 2026.

In her message, Engr. Laurio expressed her gratitude to the volunteer lecturers, partner associations, and participants for their commitment throughout the program. She emphasized that the VolunTUTOR initiative reflects DEBESMSCAT’s continuing commitment to community empowerment by providing free and accessible learning opportunities that help individuals achieve their professional aspirations.

The training program was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the DEBESMSCAT Non-Teaching Association and the DEBESMSCAT Faculty Association, reaffirming the institution’s dedication to producing competent, service-oriented professionals.

As the review program officially came to a close, participants left inspired and better prepared to face the upcoming examination, carrying with them the program’s enduring message: “Prepare. Plan. Succeed.”
