New D’ANTS Officers Take Oath for CY 2026–2028

August 11, 2026 – The newly elected officers of the DEBESMSCAT Association of Non-Teaching Staff (D’ANTS) formally took their oath of office for Calendar Year 2026–2028 at the DEBESMSCAT College Boardroom, marking a new chapter of leadership and service for the College’s non-teaching personnel.

The oath-taking ceremony symbolized the officers’ commitment to uphold the principles of integrity, accountability, unity, and dedicated service as they assume their respective responsibilities in the association.

Leading the new D’ANTS leadership is Mr. Allan O. Delos Reyes, President, with Engr. Eny B. Ferriol as Vice-President for Internal Affairs and Dr. Flora C. Royo as Vice-President for External Affairs. Shiela Marie Dela Peña serves as Assistant Vice-President (Campus).

The executive officers also include Engr. Aimelyn B. Zaragoza, Secretary; Ms. Crystel Angelou C. Ilustre, Assistant Secretary; Ms. Rafaela Mae A. Mingoy, Treasurer; Ms. Cherry M. Tacuyan, Assistant Treasurer; Mr. Ely D. Bolon, Auditor; Mr. Gian Carlo R. Letada, Public Information Officer; and Ms. Jelyn D. Ramirez and Mr. Ronald A. Mortel, Business Managers.

Serving as members of the Board of Directors are Ms. Ligaya M. Capinig, Mr. Armando P. Cabrera III, Engr. Nenette M. Laurio, Ms. Maffi Gieson S. Asilum and Ms. Melba C. Magnifico. Meanwhile, Ms. Hazel P. Vargas, Mr. Amado C. Batino, Jr., Mr. Reggie R. Dellosa, and Ms. Morwin L. Lawagon serve as Sergeants-at-Arms.

As they begin their term, the new officers are expected to strengthen camaraderie and collaboration among non-teaching personnel while supporting initiatives that contribute to the continued development of DEBESMSCAT.

The ceremony reflects D’ANTS’ renewed commitment to collective leadership, meaningful representation, and responsive service, as its new set of officers takes on the responsibility of advancing the interests and welfare of the College’s non-teaching workforce.

Message from the President

Ladies and gentlemen,

As the newly-installed SUC President of DEBESMSCAT, I am truly humbled and honored to assume this role. It is my goal in my 4-year term to share with you my vision and advocacy, which centers around the power of unity and collaboration, embodied by the acronym TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.

Leadership, to me, is not about commanding from the top or solely relying on individual brilliance. It is about recognizing the immense potential within each member of our institution and harnessing that collective strength to achieve remarkable things. True leadership requires humility, the ability to listen, learn, and empower others.

As we embark on this journey together, my aim is to cultivate an environment where every member of DEBESMSCAT feels valued, respected, and inspired to contribute their best. Together, we can achieve more than any one person could on their own.

I firmly believe that by fostering a culture of teamwork, we can overcome challenges, spark innovation, and bring about transformative change. Each of us possesses unique talents and perspectives that, when combined, form a powerful force for progress. By embracing diversity, encouraging collaboration, and fostering open communication, we can create a vibrant community that thrives on shared achievements.

Furthermore, leadership with humility is at the core of my approach. I understand that my role as President is not one of authority, but rather one of service. I am here to support and uplift every member of the DEBESMSCAT family, working hand in hand to cultivate an environment that promotes personal growth, academic excellence, and holistic development.
