DEBESMSCAT Concludes Internal Audit, Strengthens Readiness for ISO Accreditation

The Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology(DEBESMSCAT) successfully conducted its simultaneous internal audit and quality compliance activities on April 27, 2026, at the college Function Hall, in line with its preparations for the upcoming ISO accreditation audit.

Led by the Office of the President under SUC President III Dr. Arnel B. Millesca and the Office of Quality Assurance, the activity convened process owners and internal auditors to ensure institutional readiness for the Stage 1 External Audit scheduled on May 7, 2026.

The session covered key quality assurance components, including the Internal Audit, review and updating of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), validation of Quality Objectives (QO), and documentation compliance checks. These processes are critical in aligning the college’s systems and procedures with ISO standards.

The heads of offices and directors presented essential documents such as work instructions, QO monitoring records, means of verification, and other supporting materials necessary for validation and consolidation.

The initiative also served as an opportunity to identify gaps, improve operational processes, and reinforce a culture of quality and accountability across all units.
