β€œTogether Everyone Achieves More.” This powerful message resonated throughout the evening of March 18, 2026, as the DEBESMSCAT community gathered for a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to the institution. Held at the grounds in front of the Administration Building, the event titled β€œAn Evening of Honor and Recognition: Tribute to Our Retirees” was filled with music, cherished memories, and a deep sense of gratitude.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the retirees, led by SUC President III, Dr. Arnel B. Millesca. He formally presented the Plaques of Recognition, assisted by the Vice Presidents, honoring the invaluable contributions of the awardees. The ceremony was further enriched by inspiring messages from distinguished former leaders, including Dr. Renee A. Lamela, former SUC President III; Dr. Beda C. Mingoy, former Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Ms. Eugene L. Jazul, former Vice President for Administration and Finance. Their words reflected both pride and appreciation for the retirees’ years of dedicated service.

Adding vibrancy to the celebration were cultural performances from various colleges, showcasing the diverse talents within the institution.

Above all, the event served as a meaningful recognition of the retirees, who embody the institution’s core values of Resilience, Optimism, Dedication, Excellence, and Obeisance (RODEO). As they move forward into a new chapter of their lives, their legacy remains deeply embedded in DEBESMSCAT’s mission of producing globally competitive graduates. The evening concluded not only as a celebration of their achievements but also as a lasting reminder of their enduring impact on the institution.
