June 3, 2023 – The College Amphitheater at DEBESMSCAT came alive with intellectual vigor and scholarly discourse as fourteen (14) graduating students showcased their research prowess during the highly anticipated Doctor of Education in Educational Research Colloquium. This momentous event, which featured the public defense of their dissertations, served as a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout their doctoral journey.

The activity was compliant to CMO No. 15, s. 2019, section 8b, which mandates public defenses for practice-based dissertations in professional track doctorate programs. The event invited distinguished persons as penelists. Three internal panel evaluators, Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, SUC President III, Dr. Erwin H. Malto, Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Dr. Rodolfo B. Burac, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs, alongside three external panel members, Atty. Melody A. Vargas, Mandaon North District Public School District Supervisor; Dr. Arnel V. Layson, Principal I of Cabitan National High School; and Mr. Noel A. Hibo, Principal II of Cabitan Central School, formed the esteemed evaluation/panel committee.
