After a series of consultative meetings, the Quality Assurance Office fulfill the request of the colleges to conduct an orientation and workshop on the preparation of the Program Performance Profile (PPP), Narrative Reports, Self-Survey, and Compliance Reports to assist the area leaders in their preparation for Accreditation. This will be a significant step to assure that the institution’s quality endeavors are catered well with necessary skills needed.
The Quality Assurance Office facilitated two (2) workshops; one in DEBESMSCAT – Cawayan Campus and one in DEBESMSCAT – Main Campus, both aiming for a higher level of accreditation this year. The orientation and workshop in Cawayan Campus were held last April 28, 2025, a one (1) day training conducted by Dr. Judith M. Loyola, former Quality Assurance Director and a Senior Accreditor. This workshop was specifically conducted for Level I and II Accreditation, discussing its major activities such as the conduct of self-survey and the writing of compliance report and Program Performance Profile (PPP). Meanwhile, the workshop in the Main Campus was held last May 8-9, 2025, specifically conducted for Level III and IV Accreditation, discussing the writing of Compliance and Narrative Report. This workshop was held at Nathalia Beach Resort, Mandaon, Masbate last May 8-9, 2025.
Both of the workshops were done comprehensively according to the guidelines of AACCUP. The Cawayan Campus was able to conduct a self-survey and was encouraged to familiarize themselves with the survey instruments with the help of our internal accreditors, Dr. Morena C. Buayan and Dr. Jessica M. Alcantara. The workshop also provided a time for consultation session to help determine relevant documents needed for collating evidences. On the other hand, the workshop for programs of the Main Campus was focused on the seven (7) benchmark statements and the relevant evidences to be presented.
