
July 1, 2023 – The DEBESMSCAT Graduate school started the month of July with a strong commitment to academic excellence as they organized a Seminar Workshop on Thesis Writing cum Research Advancement and Capability Enhancement last July 1, 2023 at the College Function Hall.
The event, which spanned for the entire day, was attended by Graduate students from different fields and specializations. Moreover, several distinguished speakers were invited to discuss the different parts and processes of thesis writing. The invited resource speakers were the brilliant professors, namely: Dr. Sherwin E. Balbuena, Dr. Bernnard M. Barruga, Dr. Elreen A. Delavin, Mr. Erdee Cajurao, Dr. Erwin H. Malto, Dr. Arlene B. Carmen, Dr. Rodolfo B. Burac, Jr., Dr. Ulysis L. Ferreras, and Dr. Raiza M. Padasas.
The workshop was carefully designed to address the specific challenges faced by graduate students during the thesis writing process. Recognizing the significance of the thesis as a milestone in academic pursuits, the organizers ensured that the sessions covered all the essential aspects, from selecting a research topic to finalizing the manuscript.
In addition, the seminar-workshop also provided an excellent platform for collaboration and camaraderie among graduate students. Participants were observed engaging in informal discussions, share experiences, and exchange ideas. The vibrant atmosphere reflected the enthusiasm and dedication of the students, creating a sense of community, mutual support, and possible research collaborations.
