DEBESMSCAT meets with Institute of Applied Sciences of Rwanda for possible partnership

April 24, 2024 – DEBESMSCAT initiated a partnership meeting with the Institute of Applied Sciences Ruhengeri (Institut D’enseignment Superieur de Ruhengeri) or INES-Ruhengeri of Rwanda on April 24, 2024, online via Zoom. The two institutions discussed potential collaboration in the aspects of student and staff mobility, staff development, project development, exchange of academic information and publications, joint research, conduct of extension and immersion activities, and technology exchange.

The DEBESMSCAT delegation was composed of President Arnel Millesca, Vice President for Academic Affairs Elreen Delavin, College of Education Dean Bernard Barruga, Planning and Development Services Director Nenette Laurio, International Relations Officer Novy Clores, Planning Officer Jofer Asilum, Executive Assistant Maffi Gieson Asilum, and College of Engineering faculty member Jeffry Arevalo. On the other hand, INES-Ruhengeri was represented by various members of its faculty and administration, including Mireille Biraro, Gonzalves Nshimiyimana, Eustache Munyaneza, and Dr. Fr. Baribeshya Jean Bosco. The partnership meeting was initiated by Robert Meyers of Leipzig University of Germany, and moderated by Jofer Asilum.
