DEBESMSCAT Main and Cawayan campuses welcomed the CHED-ROV RQAT Team for an intensive assessment and evaluation process aimed at ensuring the compliance and quality of its degree programs. The rigorous assessment, which took place from July 17 to July 22, 2023, was conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to assess if the programs offered in the College meet the minimum compliance standards set by CHED and to assess whether each curriculum is ready for implementation.
The evaluation process involved a comprehensive examination of various aspects, including curriculum design, faculty qualifications, administration, library, laboratory and equipment, other facilities, and student support services. By analyzing these key factors, the RQAT aimed to gauge whether DEBESMSCAT is offering a robust learning environment, conducive to nurturing academic excellence and professional growth.

Generally, the College received positive feedback from the RQAT Team and some constructive and doable compliance for other areas. The result of the assessment ignited the motivation of DEBESMSCAT faculty and personnel to commit in addressing issues identified by the RQAT Team in order to achieve full compliance for the betterment of the institution and to all its stakeholders.
Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, SUC President III, expressed his genuine gratitude to the RQAT Team for the comprehensive evaluation of each degree programs. For DEBESMSCAT, the evaluation marked a critical milestone in its journey to maintain and enhance its reputation as a provider of top-quality education.
