CHED issues certificate of compliance to DEBESMSCAT courses

Last May 19, 2014, the Commission on Higher Education issued the certificate of compliance to DEBESMSCAT program offerings as it complied the minimum requirements of the policies, standards, and guidelines prescribed by CHED. The courses which were issued the COC were: Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEED) major in General Education and Preschool, Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSE) major in Biological Science, English, and Mathematics, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) major in Automotive Technology, Civil Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, and Food Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science(BSCS). These programs are still subject for regular monitoring after a year of effectivity of the certificate.

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) major in Agricultural Education, Agroforestry, Animal Science, and Crop Science, Bachelor of Science in Agriculltural Engineering (BSAEN), and Graduate School programs are on the process of submitting their curricular offerings for the said certificate of compliance. This certificate is issued after the visit of CHED to the school where they evaluated the school’s offerings last May 2, 2014. (RMP)
