Ninety-six of the 257 graduates of the Bachelor of Elementary Education program of DEBESMSCAT passed in the Licensure Examination for Teachers conducted last March, 2019.

As part of the college’s effort to comply with the requirements of the university hood, the College of Education has instituted a number of strategies, including enhancement classes to improve its performance in the licensure exam. In order to comply, the college must exceed the national passing percentage by at least 25% for the next three years.

“We are happy that our efforts are paying off. This will inspire not only the BEEd department but the entire college to work better for the attainment of our goals,” said Prof. Jocelyn S. Casi, program chair of BEEd.
